Olivier Wenden Outlines Vision for Monaco’s Blue Economy and Finance Forum (BEFF)

-

Olivier Wenden, Vice-Chairman and CEO of the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation, has shared his vision ahead of the Blue Economy and Finance Forum (BEFF), set to take place in Monaco on June 7–8, 2025, just days before the UN Ocean Conference (UNOC3).

Unlike traditional summits, BEFF positions itself as a strategic B2B platform, showcasing scalable and profitable solutions that support both ocean health and economic development. Wenden emphasizes the need to accelerate investment in proven models that sustain marine ecosystems while driving growth.

Backed by Monaco’s scientific heritage and global influence, the event is co-organized by the Prince’s Government, the Prince Albert II Foundation, and the Oceanographic Institute, with support from France and Costa Rica. As a special event of the UNOC, BEFF contributes to achieving SDG 14: Life Below Water.
